Founded in 1987 on Wall Street in La Jolla, California, Wall Street Associates ("WSA") was established as an employee-owned SEC-registered investment advisor. Prior to starting WSA, the firm's founding principals worked together for over 10 years at another institutional investment management firm. Today, we continue our tradition as a privately owned registered investment advisor. Decades of dedication to our investment philosophy and extensive investment experience have produced excellent long-term performance and style-consistency amid all market environments.
Wall Street Associates, LLC is owned entirely by active employees, strategically aligning the firm with the long-term interests of our clients. The Managing Member of the LLC is Wall Street Associates, a Sub-S corporation majority owned by the firm's founders. Wall Street Associates, Inc. and Wall Street Associates, LLC are not affiliated with any other organization. The firm's ownership and the rest of our professional staff are responsible for 100% of the management, operations, and investment functions of our business.
